Bringing Baby Home Workshop

Parenting is a journey, not a destination.

Even the strongest relationships are strained during the transition to parenthood. Conflict, disappointment, and hurt feelings are experienced by 67% of new parents. The research-based "Bringing Baby Home" workshop series prepares couples for life with baby and helps them to be the best parenting team possible. This workshop is a three-class series, in which several topics will be covered at each session. Some of the topics participants will learn about are:
Building Love Maps, Share Fondness & Admiration, and Build an Emotional Bank Account.
Flooding, Self-Soothing & Talking Breaks, and Warning Signs of Relationship Meltdown.
Honor Mothers & Fathers, and the Importance of Fathers.
How to Cope with Baby Blues & Postpartum Mood Disorders.
Parent-Child Connection.
Intimacy & Romance, and Shared Meaning, Values & Rituals.
