Your Generosity Makes a Difference
Ever since opening its doors in 1926, Cameron Memorial Community Hospital has received excellent financial support from its friends and neighbors in the community it serves. As the hospital has grown, however, increases in giving options, as well as the hospital’s donor base, have created the need for a central channel through which funds may be received, recorded and allocated.

To meet that need, the Cameron Hospital Foundation was established and began operating in January of 1988. The Foundation’s primary responsibility is to encourage a steady flow of funds to the hospital from individuals and organizations within the hospital’s service area. These funds enable Cameron Hospital to continue providing its patients with the finest healthcare equipment, programs and services possible...as well as provide the resources necessary for construction, expansion and remodeling projects.

Contributions of any amount, and in honor of any occasion, are gratefully appreciated by the Foundation. Your individual or corporate tax-deductible gift will:

Mission & Purpose
The Cameron Hospital Foundation is a not-for-profit organization which has taken on the mission of enhancing the quality of healthcare for the people within the service area of Cameron Memorial Community Hospital by seeking and allocating philanthropic funds.

The purpose of the Foundation is to obtain funds through charitable giving, to administer those funds, and to allocate them to Cameron Hospital and other appropriate not-for-profit corporations or associations engaged in the delivery of general healthcare in the hospital's service area. These funds are used for the purpose of enhancing patient care, health care research, providing health-related education, and purchasing clinical equipment and facilities.

The Cameron Foundation’s volunteer board of directors is made up of a broad spectrum of community members, and is charged with the responsibility of managing donations and allocating Foundation funds either as directed by the donor or so as to maximize the effectiveness of the contribution.

In order to provide you, your family and your community with the highest quality of care close to home, the foundation needs your support. Contributions are often made for a variety of reasons: in honor of a joyous occasion; as a token of appreciation for quality medical care; or as a lasting tribute to a loved one.

Whatever the reason, regardless of the amount, each gift is gratefully appreciated and acknowledged in an appropriate manner by the Cameron Hospital Foundation.

Annual Giving Fund
Because of the annual support of friends like you, Cameron Hospital will continue to grow and fulfill its mission of providing a wide range of health services to the people of Steuben County and surrounding areas in the spirit of charity, concern and excellence.

Friends Club ($50 to $249 annually)

Associates Club ($250 to $499 annually)

Humanitarians Club ($500 to $999 annually)

Founders Club ($1,000 to $2,499 annually)

Benefactors Club ($2,500 to $4,999 annually)

Leaders Club ($5,000 to $9,999 annually)

Presidents Club ($10,000 or more annually)

Greatest Need Fund
Contributions will be put to valuable use where the greatest need is at the time of the contribution.

Building Fund
Contributions will be applied toward necessary hospital construction, expansion and remodeling projects.

Equipment Fund
Contributions purchase or assist in funding for the purchase of medical equipment used throughout the hospital.

Scholarship Fund
Contributions financially benefit students pursuing careers in healthcare.

Other Funds
Contributions can be given to a particular department or service of the hospital, as requested by the donor.
