On Wednesday, April 29, 2009, Cameron Home Care and Hospice will serve as a local host for the Hospice Foundation of America’s sixteenth annual Living With Grief teleconference, “Diversity and End-of-Life Care.” Frank Sesno, Professor of Public Policy and Communication at The George Washington University and Special Correspondent with CNN, will moderate this program featuring a panel of knowledgeable physicians and professionals in this field. The public is invited on April 29, 2009, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m., to attend this event which will be held at the Angola Seventh Day Adventist Church, 314 N. Williams St., Angola. Cameron Home Care and Hospice is presenting this in cooperation with the Angola Seventh Day Adventist Church, and with assistance from Dr. and Mrs. William Smith. Staff from Cameron Home Care and Hospice will be on hand to lead a 30-minute discussion following the program. Doctors, nurses, funeral directors, social workers, nursing home administrators and staff are encouraged to attend and will be able to earn continuing education accreditation (CEUs) through joint sponsorship of Washington Hospital Center and the Hospice Foundation of America. Each year this award-winning televised broadcast is seen in more than 2,000 communities across North America, reach an estimated live audience of 150,000 people. The teleconference is produced by Hospice Foundation of America, a not-for-profit organization which advocates the hospice concept of care by promoting educational and public information programs.
