With the introduction of urology services at Cameron, we’re expanding access to specialized care for conditions affecting the urinary tract and reproductive system, ranging from infections and incontinence to complex cancers and kidney stones.
We recognize that urology services are often limited across Northeast Indiana. This expansion allows Cameron to offer advanced diagnostics, early intervention and coordinated, in-system care, ensuring timely, high-quality treatment that meets the growing needs of our community.

Dr. Scott D. Shie, MD
Scott D. Shie, MD, is a board-certified urologist with over 14 years of experience specializing in the surgical treatment of urologic conditions. Dr. Shie received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Denison University, and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed a general surgery internship at Akron General Medical Center/NEOMED and his residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Akron General. Outside of providing personalized caring for his patients, Dr. Shie enjoys music, traveling, water and snow skiing, and spending time with his family.
Brandi L. Alwine, PA-C
Brandi L. Alwine, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with wide ranging expertise in all facets of urologic care. She works closely with the urologist to provide collaborative and comprehensive care to their patients. She earned her undergraduate degree in chemistry pre-med from Purdue Fort Wayne, obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Central Michigan University College of Medicine and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Outside of caring for her patients, Brandi enjoys baking, biking, running, yoga and spending time with her family.
