Donna Elbrecht

Board Member since 2022

Occupation: President/CEO – Easterseals Northern Indiana

Board Experience: Easterseals of Great Lakes Regional Affiliate Relations, Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (INARF), Easterseals Board of Directors, and the Indiana Rehabilitation Commission, appointed by Governor Eric Holcomb, among others.

Education: Bachelor of Arts from Valparaiso University and she is a Certified Six Sigma Champion.

Elbrecht is a native of northeast Indiana, growing up in Fort Wayne and spending her summers at Jimmerson Lake. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, fishing, and boating with her family on Lake James.

Occupation: Physician and Chief Medical Officer at Cameron Health

Professional Organizations: Indiana State Medical Association, Fort Wayne Medical Society, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the Society of Gynecologic Oncology

Education: Depauw University (Bachelor’s), Indiana University School of Medicine

Dr. Rumsey serves as the President of the Steuben County Board of Health and actively volunteers at the Fairview Mission Church. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, cooking and woodworking.

Occupation: President/CEO of First Federal Savings Bank of Angola

Board Experience: Currently serving on the Steuben Community Foundation Investment Committee. He previously served in the Angola Kiwanis Club, and Board of Directors for the Angola Kids League, Trine University Alumni Association, Steuben County United Way, YMCA of Steuben County, and Angola Area Chamber of Commerce.

Education: Trine University, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting, Indiana University-Fort Wayne, Master of Business Administration.

In his spare time, Gruner enjoys traveling, golfing, and attending sporting events with his wife and sons.

She and her husband of almost 20 years, Jimmy, have two children.

Occupation: Retired; Former Assistant Superintendent, MSD of Steuben County

Board Experience: Franks School of Education Stakeholder Advisory Committee (Trine University), Carnegie Public Library Board of Trustees, Past Chair Steuben County Community Foundation Scholarship Committee.

Education: Ball State University & Indiana University

Ms. Rice has been involved with Steuben County education her entire career, specifically at MSD of Steuben County.

Occupation: Co-Owner of Andrews and Shipe LLC

Board Experience: Habitat for Humanity, Angola Kids League and is an active member of his church.

Education: Huntington University, Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics

As a long-standing member of the Angola community, Luke has called Steuben County home since 2009. He and his wife, Keri, moved to Angola shortly after meeting at Huntington University and have since grown their family of four here.

Occupation: Executive Director of The James Foundation, Inc.

Board Experience: She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Arts United, Easterseals RISE Advisory Council and the Brandon Foundation. Her dedication to service extends beyond these roles, having previously served on the boards of the Questa Education Foundation, the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, and several others. 

Education: Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy 

Kendra is a passionate advocate for community service, with a deep commitment to making a positive impact through both leadership and volunteerism.

Carrie Vollmer-Sanders

Occupation: President of Field to Market and Co-Owner and Operator of Grains and Greens, Inc.

Board Experience: Vollmer-Sanders has a strong background in agricultural leadership, with past and present involvement in several agricultural associations and community boards, such as the Edon Farmer’s Cooperative and the Steuben County YMCA.

Education: Purdue University — Fort Wayne (Master of Business Administration) and Michigan State University (Master of Science, Agricultural Economics and Bachelor of Science, Agriscience Education)

Carrie brings over twenty years of experience within the agricultural industry, specializing in high-impact sustainability and food value chain initiatives. With a strong track record in leading teams to address environmental challenges without compromising business objectives, she is an exceptional leader and looks forward to further serving her community.

Dr. Charles MacLean

Occupation: President of Medical Staff at Cameron Health

Experience: After several years of general practice in Nova Scotia, MacLean moved to Indiana and worked two years in Family Practice in Ossian before deciding to work in Urgent Care full time. Dr. MacLean spent fifteen years with the Redimed chain of Urgent Cares in and around the Fort Wayne area before moving to Angola and working with Cameron Urgent Care for the past 10 years.

Education: Doctor of Medicine and Rotating Internship – Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Currently Board Certified with the American Board of Urgent Care Medicine.

Dr. MacLean has more than thirty years of experience as a medical provider and has served Cameron for the past four years as the Medical Director of Cameron Urgent Care.
